简要概述了目前天然气和油田气化工利用的现状与研究开发动向。其内容包括：天然气直接和经合成气间接转化制烯烃、含氧化合物和燃料；天然气转化过程的经济概算；甲醇化学品；Ｃ３～Ｃ５烃催化转化制化学品以及对发展我国天然气化工的一些初步建议。
