Abstract:
The corrosion behaviors of four metal materials in MDEA solution at different conditions were studied by electrochemical methods. The results showed that with increasing temperature, electrochemical corrosion rate increased dramatically. Moreover, the corrosion rate of 20# steel and 20R steel in vapor phase was greater than that in liquid phase. The corrosion rates of amine solution saturated with hydrogen sulphide increased after running for a period, while the solution without hydrogen sulphide showed almost no electrochemical corrosion to the materials. In addition, the tendency of electrochemical corrosion of stainless steel 304 and 316L was not detected during the experiment.
